A GALANCE OF OUR PADMABHUSHAN Dr.B.V.RAJU GARU KNOWLEDGE CENTER

INTRODUCTION: Dr.B.V.Raju knowledge center is the brain child of our dynamic chairman, Sri K.V.Vishnu raju garu after witnessing the lack of lab facilities in government schools and having ardent desire to spread the seeds of education among the rural population he decided to establish a nodal center for excellency which would the students in their quest for knowledge and development through the scientific experiment. the result is the birth of knowledge center.

HISTORY OF KNOWLEDGE CENTER: Kumudavalli the village had been the birth place of Dr.B.V.Raju garu the founder chairman of Dr.B.V.Raju foundation .the building had been his residence and the ancestorl home. he was a well know educationist and social worker .the building in which they lived was turned to a functoin hall after he left the house enabling the poor and the needy to use it was a marriage hall. as it did not serve the purposewell, it was renovated to become the knowledge center ,enhancing the regiuons educational developmental programmes. It was stupendously inaugurated by the union minister of state for mine Dr.T.Subba Rami Reddy on 27-12-2006 it was attended by many eminent personalities apart from our chairman,secretary ,director and the principals of S.V.E.S.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES : It aims at helping the school going children of zilla parishad high schools of surrounding villages of 10km radius to improve their practical knowledge on physics,chemistry,biology,computer and internet basics .

FACILITIES PROVIDED:
1.There are labs for physics,chemistry,biology,computer and a library for reading available.
2.All the scientific equipments,chemicals,charts,models,specimens which are needed for VI to X classes available.
3.LCD,OHP projector & projection microscope are available as teaching aids.
4.Internet facilities are available .
5.Generator facility is provided.
6.All subjects CD's are available for VI-X class.
7.A lecture hall which can acomiddate100 students at a time is provided.
8. 3 lab. Assistants & 1 computer instructor and an in-charge are appointed to look after the knowledge center.
9.Free transport facilities are provided.
10.Snacks are provided to all the students at free cost.
11.Drinking water facilities,urinals and toilets are provided for the boys & girls seperately.
12.An open air auditorium is provided to conduct any meetings and other programmes.

INAUGURATION OF THE COMPUTER TRAINING FOR RURAL WOMEN :
This prestigious programmes was splendidly inaugrated by the Dr.Veena Noble dass the vice-chancellor of Sri.Padmavathi womens university,Tirupathi .
The response had been above our expectation; approximately more than 100 womens and arround 25 men attended this programme.
The main aim of the programme is impart basic knowledge computers for the rural women.
Nearly 80 women have attending this programme between the age group of 16 - 60.
